Jorie’s Geo Challenge
I’m trying out something semi-new. I want to see if I can read books which take place in different settings.
For 2010, I’m attempting to reach beyond the US and the UK. Also, when a book is set in a place other than Earth, a star will be placed on the author’s homeland.
Let’s see how many places I can go this year! Who’s in this with me?

well, seeing as I’m about to set off to visit four countries on my way to emigrate to another this year… I’m with you in reality, not just fiction! And I’m also pretty busy and will be off the web radar until late November from August. All the best with this!

Jorie, I’ve just finished Dinaw Mengestu’s How to Read the Air, a beautifully written story that takes place in NYC then vai car tip to the midwest US. The author is from Ethiopia and lives in Paris. Hows’ that for geography? I highly recommend it, if you haven’t already read it.
I’m looking forward to your blog!
