Here’s a new feature which offers me the chance to respond to some of my Stellar Visitors’ remarks.

Sunday, July 20, 2014 – 77th Edition of The Sunday Post

Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library said “I really need to read Unbroken. I’ll have to go check out your review. I’ve yet to read The Fault in Our Stars but I’ve held on so long I almost can’t pick it up now! Have a great week! Hopefully things will settle down a bit for you!”

Starry Night Elf’s Reply: 1) I appreciated Unbroken on so many levels. Although I borrowed the book many times, I felt it was worthy of finishing. Also, I can’t wait for the movie to hit theaters in December! 2) As I have a huge pile of books checked out to me, I’m blessed that a friend lent me The Fault in Our Stars. Otherwise, I’d be playing the waiting game with this bestseller. 3) Thank you, things settled down a bit this week and I posted more!

Fiza said “I still haven’t read The Fault In Our Stars, really should though >.<My Sunday

Starry Night Elf’s Reply: 1) You’re not alone when it comes to The Fault in Our Stars. The few pages that I’ve read are intriguing. Time will tell if I like it as much as John Green’s An Abundance of Katherines. 2) I visited, followed, and liked your blog today. I’m happy you’re on WordPress, too!

Tuesday, July 22, 2014 – Top Ten Characters Jorie Would Want on a Deserted Island with Her

Katherine @ I Wish I Lived in a Library said “Great picks! It’s been so long since I’ve read the Joanna Brady series I had forgotten about Butch but he’d be a great guy to be stuck on an island with!

Starry Night Elf’s Reply: I definitely wanted to make sure I had some cooks/chefs in my version of the deserted island scenario. Butch cooks as well as tells great stories – I’d say he’s a two for one! 😉

Joey @ Thoughts and Afterthoughts said “I guess this deserted island scenario is more of a weekend getaway for you if you can just get Superman to fly you back out when the fun has died down! – Cheers,  joey via. thoughts and afterthoughts

Starry Night Elf’s Reply: Hey, Joey! Yeah, I think my girlhood Christopher Reeve crush resurfaced in this week’s theme. However, I did make sure our food and shelter needs were met. I checked out your post and am amazed by your various contingencies. Also, I like how you’ve provided readers with a  Top Ten Tuesday Index!

Anna @ herding cats & burning soup said “I don’t know all of them but the ones I do know I’m gonna have to agree with ya. Great picks!”

Starry Night Elf’s Reply: “Thank you! Which characters do you know?”
