September 6th: Jane Addams!

The Doodle celebrating Jane Addams, posted on September 6th, 2013.

One of my ‘sheroes’ is Jane Addams. Today would’ve been her 153rd! One thing that has long fascinated me about Addams was that in order to keep Hull House afloat, she wrote pamphlets about social reform. So, writing kept Addams’ dream alive and she aided countless people. For more on Jane Addams, check out this post by Speaking Up | for all creators and innovators – September 6th: Jane Addams!.
