Do You Like TBRs?
Initially “Discovered @ the library,” these items caught my eye on the shelving cart, in the book drop, displayed, or advertised. In recent years, I took to listing these books that caught my eye on my TBR (To Be Read) page. When I more regularly posted, I shared one TBR per month. I typically posted a TBR on the first Monday of each month.
So, should I continue this feature on Jorie’s Reads? I look forward to hearing from my readers this week. I will extend special consideration to any response received before midnight on Sunday, June 12, 2016.
Since I saw many books I added to my TBR list during my hiatus, I will showcase several of these books during the week of June 06 – June 11.
This post is the first in the 2016 series on Jorie’s Reads:
Do Reading Logs Help or Hinder?
As a lifelong reader, I lean much on resources such as Goodreads to remind me of what books I’ve read and books I would like to read. Yet, reading this article gave me pause. Readers, please weigh in – “Can Reading Logs Ruin Reading for Kids?”
Summer Reading Programs
“What Do You Like” Series?
As Jorie’s Reads is under renovation, for the next several weeks, this humble blog will be asking “What Do You Like?” This will begin with previous features of Jorie’s Reads. Then, the blog will ask about features which haven’t been presented on this blog.
After collecting feedback, Jorie’s Reads will consider the data and move forward with the blog. Keep an eye, things are to be learned!
A Call for Books!
Summer is around the corner and Jorie’s Reads wants to know – What Are You Reading? Please post a response to this post. I’m looking forward to the replies.
